Tafseer Surah Saba Urdu by Syed Abul Ala Maududi

Tafseer Surah Saba Urdu is a focused commentary booklet from Tafheem ul Quran by Syed Abul Ala Maududi, published by Idara Tarjuman ul Quran. Surah Saba is a Makki surah that speaks with unusual force about gratitude, power, accountability and the rise and fall of nations. It brings together the stories of Prophet Dawood (AS), Prophet Sulaiman (AS), and the people of Saba to show how blessing becomes a test when it is not joined with obedience to Allah.

This edition is useful for readers who want a clear Urdu explanation of the surah without opening the full six-volume set every time. Maududi's style connects the wording of the Quran with historical setting, moral lessons and practical reflection, which makes the booklet valuable for study circles, teachers and serious personal reading.

Why this Surah matters

Surah Saba reminds readers that wealth, rule, skill and civilization do not protect a people when gratitude disappears. The surah also answers doubts about resurrection and prophethood, giving the reader a wider view of how Quranic arguments are built through history, reason and moral warning.
