Tafsir Wazih ul Bayan Gold Edition: The Accessible Complete Urdu Quran Tafsir for Pakistani Readers

Tafsir Wazih ul Bayan Gold Edition brings together two of the most trusted names in Pakistani Quranic scholarship: the widely respected Urdu translation of Maulana Muhammad Jonagarhi, paired with the accessible and well-regarded commentary of Maulana Muhammad Dawood Raaz. Together, they have produced a complete single-volume Urdu Tafsir that has earned a permanent place on the bookshelves of families, imams, and students across Pakistan.

Why Readers Choose Tafsir Wazih ul Bayan

The landscape of Urdu Tafsir can be daunting. Multi-volume works like Tafheem ul Quran and Tafsir Ibn Kathir are invaluable, but they demand significant time, shelf space, and prior knowledge to use effectively. Many readers — particularly those who want daily engagement with the Quran's meanings rather than structured academic study — need something different: a complete, sourced Tafsir that speaks clearly without overwhelming.

Tafsir Wazih ul Bayan occupies that space. Maulana Dawood Raaz's commentary draws on the classical Tafsir tradition but renders it in flowing, comprehensible Urdu for readers across educational backgrounds. Combined with Maulana Jonagarhi's precise and familiar translation — one that generations of Pakistani readers have grown up reading — the result is a Tafsir that is both academically grounded and genuinely readable. It is among the most recommended single-volume Urdu Tafsirs in our full collection.
