Tafseer Surah Al-A'raf Urdu | Quran Commentary | Syed Abul Ala Maududi

Tafseer Surah Al-A'raf Urdu by Syed Abul Ala Maududi

Tafseer Surah Al-A'raf Urdu presents Syed Abul Ala Maududi's explanation of the 7th chapter of the Quran. This is one of the major Makki surahs, bringing together the call to Tawheed, the reality of revelation, the struggle of the Prophets, and the consequences faced by communities that turned away from Allah's guidance.

Surah Al-A'raf includes powerful Quranic reminders about Adam (AS), the deception of Shaytan, the stories of Prophets Nuh, Hud, Salih, Lut, Shuayb and Musa (AS), and the scene of the people of Al-A'raf. Maududi's Urdu commentary helps readers follow these passages as connected guidance, not isolated stories.

Why this Surah matters

This surah is especially important for anyone studying how the Quran presents history as moral evidence. It shows the pattern of revelation, rejection, patience, arrogance, repentance and accountability. The commentary gives Urdu readers a practical way to reflect on these lessons with clarity.
